I love designing covers. So what goes in a cover design. In this case, I received the main photo.
I applied image editing to open up the dark areas, brighten up the whites, and boost the color.
I felt that the background was distracting, so I added a more colorful background and gave it a touch of a blur.
,Then I added the masthead, Inside graphic, Association logo and text for the final cover design.
As a volunteer graphic designer since September 2012, have provided the concept development, graphic design and extensive image compositing to produce cover designs for Heritage Highlights, the official publication of the Tennessee Walking Horse Heritage Society.
