After a few years as an Advertising Designer and Art Director in print advertising, digital media began transforming the industry. Since I am both an avid learner and one who loves to stay in step with changing technology, I had to return to the college scene and further my skill development in marketing communications, writing, editing, advertising, and their application with the emerging digital media.
In May 2010 I graduated with honors from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing & Multimedia Communication.
Academia has validated and leveraged my professional graphic design experience, launched new skills in integrated marketing communications, copywriting, story writing and editing, and has provided opportunities to apply these skills in today’s digital media: Website design and development, blogging, video creation and video editing, photography and photo editing, social media content, e-newsletters, and analyzing response through metrics.
